There are 60 kilometres of perfectly prepared runs and fun parks as well as 19 modern mountain rail lines and ski-lifts. The ski carousel of the upper Toggenburg makes all the fans of winter sports activities swirl with enthusiasm and the wide runs are just perfect for carvers. The Funpark Wildhaus provides beginners and experts with kickers, corners, slide poles and fun boxes. If you are courageous enough you might decide for a Snow tubing run down - lying on your stomach. Snow tubing is an unforgettable adventure for all ages. And they very brave ones can use the snow scooter to get down to the valley.

You will find also countless cross-country ski runs throughout the region in quiet woods, on plateaus with marvellous panoramic views and in the typical hilly Toggenburg terrain.

Snow sport schools with their experienced instructors offer top programmes in carving, powder skiing, big footing, ski hiking tours, variant skiing and video analysis.

The Toggenburg valley is known as one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Switzerland. If you are looking for calm and recreation away from the busy ski pistes you will find an abundance of well-maintained paths for strolling, hiking and Nordic walking. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view and stop for a bite at one of the cosy mountain inns.

Winter Strolling on the Fables Trail: A marked winter strolling trail takes you past twelve fables signboards and offers itself for all generations. It is particularly enjoyed by children and also popular with families pulling their small ones on sleighs.
