  • Austrian arts and crafts and original gifts
  • Each district has its own individual Christmas market

Did you know that there are more than 10 different Christmas markets in Vienna? The scent of fresh Christmas bakery and hot punch envelops the markets in an ambience where visitors can still experience true Christmas spirit.

Day 1:   Arrival in Vienna

Welcome to Vienna! How about a first stroll through one of the city's many beautiful Christmas markets this evening?

Day 2:   City tour and Christmas market

Today you will take a city tour through Vienna. Vienna - the city of dreams. From waltz and coffee house, elegance and nostalgia to luxury and romance, you will find everything here. Marvel at the magnificent buildings on the Ringstrasse, such as the State Opera, the Burgtheater, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the University, the Belvedere Palace and St. Stephen's Cathedral. In the early afternoon you will visit one of the most important institutions in Vienna: the coffee house. There one meets not only to drink a coffee or a real Viennese - melange, but also to make acquaintances or to observe the people. To ensure that this happens in the right setting, we have planned one of the most beautiful coffeehouses for you. Enjoy your melange and a piece of Viennese cake. Afterwards there is the opportunity to visit the Christmas market again. The best known is the large market on Rathausplatz, but each district of Vienna has its own, beautifully designed, individual Christmas market.

The demonstrations at the Vienna Riding School are always a special experience (optional). The elegance of the horses, their incredible arts are famous worldwide. How about a visit to the Sisi Palace Schönbrunn (optional)? It is the most popular sight of Vienna and one of the most important cultural assets of Austria. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in December 1996. This confirms the worldwide importance of the castle and the entire garden as a Baroque synthesis of the arts. When it gets dark in the evening, you can stroll around the festively lit Christmas market at the castle and enjoy mulled wine and hot chestnuts or other delicacies.
