Day 1/ Vienna

Upon arrival at the airport of Vienna transfer to the hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Vienna in a traditional Fiaker, which is the best way to go back to the old Vienna and enjoy the experience aboard the traditional horse-drawn carriage. You will also visit the Hofburg and the palace of Schönbrunn.

 

Day 2/ Vienna - Melk - Linz – Salzburg

Departure from Vienna to the Wachau Valley, a valley with a very special landscape formed by the Danube River. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Lower Austria. Trip to the Benedictine Abbey of Melk, the most representative baroque monument in Austria. Stop in Linz on the banks of the Danube before arriving in Salzburg.

 

Day 3/ Salzburg - Lake District – Salzburg

Start the day with a sightseeing tour of Salzburg. The historic center seems to be domi- nated by church spires, medieval forts and, especially, the Hohensalzburg Fortress. In the afternoon we explore the lovely Lake District of Salzburg. Take the cable car to the top of Mount Zwölferhorn to enjoy the spectacular views of Wolfgangsee Lake.

 

Day 4/ Salzburg - Berchtesgaden - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

In the middle of the Bavarian Alps this excursion offers, above all, a stunning landscape and magnificent panoramic views. In Berchtesgaden there is the possibility of visiting the Eagle's Nest in Obersalzberg. Continuation of the trip to Garmisch Partenkirchen to your hotel Schloss Elmau *****, idyllically located in the middle of the Alps.

 

Day 5/ Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Neuschwanstein - Munich

In the morning visit the Neuschwanstein Castle. The most famous castle in Germany was built by Louis II, known as the mad king for his strong personality and eccentricities. In the afternoon travel to Munich, the capital of Bavaria and the headquarters of the BMW car brand.

 

Day 6/ Munich

In the morning visit the city’s famous Marienplatz square with the elegant city hall and magnificent carillon, the church of Our Lady and the nearby Viktualienmarkt with delicious gourmet products. Also stroll along the elegant Maximilianstrasse, lined with upscale boutiques and lovely shops. We will be pleased to help you find any specialty items.

 

Day 7/ Munich - OUTLETCITY Metzingen - Baden-Baden

Travel to OUTLETCITY Metzingen and enjoy a fantastic day of luxurious shopping. VIP service or advice from a personal shopping assistant is included. Be inspired by more than 70 premium and luxury brands and your personal assistants advice. Then travel to Baden-Baden.

 

Day 8/ Baden-Baden – Baiersbronn (Black Forest) - Baden-Baden

Stroll through the city of Baden-Baden, the former summer residence of the European high nobility, known worldwide as an elegant hydrothermal station and its casino. In the afternoon is Baiersbronn, in the Black Forest. Baiersbronn is Germany's gourmet paradise par excellence, thanks to its internationally renowned restaurants combining eight Michelin stars. 

 

Day 9/ Baden-Baden - Vogtsbauernhof - Triberg Falls - Interlaken

Today you will go deeper into the Black Forest. Stop at the fascinating open-air museum "Vogtsbauernhof", there the history and culture of the Black Forest come alive. Travel to Triberg, where the highest waterfalls in Germany are located. On the way to Interlaken, alternatively stop in Basel or Bern instead of the Black Forest.

 

Day 10/ Interlaken – Jungfraujoch or Schilthorn - Interlaken

To have an unforgettable view, you can choose between the ascend up to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, which is with 3,454 meter the highest railway station in Europe with ice and guaranteed snow all year - or if you prefer you can go up to Piz Gloria (Schilthorn) to enter the world of James Bond. The views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains are spectacular. 

 

Day 11/ Interlaken - Lucerne - St. Moritz

Travel along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne. The Chapel Bridge or Kapellbrücke, is the oldest wooden bridge in Europe. Visit the city and enjoy some free time. In the afternoon continue to St. Moritz. 

 

Day 12/ St. Moritz - Glacier Express (Excellence Class) - Zermatt

In the morning departure with the famous Glacier Express in the "Excellence Class". A train journey through the Swiss Alps has never been so luxurious. Window seat, magnificent panoramic view and a 5-course menu with a selection of regional wines is included. The Glacier Bar is the perfect place for a snack or a delicious cocktail. During the whole trip a Concierge will attend you.

 

Day 13/ Zermatt - Gornergrat – Zermatt

Zermatt, probably the most famous alpine village in Switzerland. The picturesque town center is car-free and still preserves its original charm. Travel by cog railway to Gornergrat, at an elevation of 3.089 m (10.100 ft). The view of the Matterhorn and the Swiss Alps is truly breathtaking. 

 

Day 14/ Zermatt - Glacier 3000 – Montreux

On the way to Montreux visit the only one suspension bridge in the world that unites two summits: the Peak Walk by Tissot. It is located on Glacier 3000 and invites you to enjoy an adventure. The bridge offers stunning views over the Alps. From there you can see the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. 

 

Day 15/ Montreux - Gruyéres - Broc - Montreux

Visit to the idyllic villages of Gruyères and Broc. In Gruyéres one of the most appreciated cheeses is produced in Switzerland and in Broc one of the most exquisite chocolates in the world, "Maison Cailler". The charming city of Montreux is located on the shores of Lake Geneva. Enjoy a promenade overlooking the Alps and the region of the Lavaux vineyards. 

 

Day 16/ Montreux - Geneva

In the morning transfer to Geneva Airport with a stop in Geneva. Sightseeing tour to see the beautiful parks along the lake and the European headquarters of the UN. Here you find prestige watches like Cartier, Patek Philippe and Rolex, jewelry and clothing brand Gucci, Versace and Louis Vuitton.
