Day 1/ Frankfurt

Arrival in Frankfurt and transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 2/ Frankfurt - Koblenz - Bonn

After breakfast, travel to the ancient Roman city of Koblenz. Visit of the city, considered one of the oldest cities in Germany. Continue to the "Deutsches Eck" (German corner) where the Moselle River joins the Rhine River. From there, cross the river in a panoramic funicular that allows you to have a spectacular view. On the other side of the river is the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, the second largest fortress in Europe. Ludwig van Beethoven's mother was born in Koblenz. You can visit his home now converted into a museum dedicated to the life of Beethoven (open on Sundays and holidays). The trip continues to Bonn.

 

Day 3/ Bonn

He is considered the irascible titan of the era of classicism: Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-

1827). Bonn's most illustrious son not only wrote the Fifth Symphony, but also composed

the melody "To joy", the anthem of Europe since 1972. In his hometown Bonn, Beethoven

is present in every corner. Learn today during a guided tour the most important places

related to his life, including the Beethoven monument, in the Münsterplatz square and the

sculpture called "Beethon", as well as the Beethoven House, the composer's birthplace. In honor of the 250 years of his birth, the Beethoven House was completely remodeled and now houses a permanent collection with more than 200 original objects by the great composer. It also offers endless concerts throughout the year. Depending on your travel date, it is recommended today to attend a special concert by the Beethoven orchestra.

 

Day 4/ Bonn - Cologne

After breakfast, travel to Cologne to see this great Rhine metropolis and enjoy a city tour. The tips of the Gothic cathedral (UNESCO heritage) dominate this ancient German city that boasts countless artistic treasures, famous museums and a rich cultural life.

 

Day 5/ Cologne - Frankfurt

In the morning you are free to explore Cologne at your leisure, in the afternoon transfer to Frankfurt.
