Package 1: Munich and castles  

Day 1/ Munich

Upon arrival in Munich, optional private transfer to your hotel.

 

Day 2/ Munich

Today you explore the city with a regular tour using the Hop on/Hop off tourist bus. You can disembark at any stop and take your time to get to know the city. Highlights include the Marienplatz square, the City Hall, the famous Church of our Lady and the Viktualienmarkt street market.

 

Day 3/ Munich - Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Palaces - Munich

In the solitude of the mountains and amidst an idyllic landscape, „mad King“ Ludwig II built two of his fairytale castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Take a regular excursion to visit these two architectural wonders (admission not included). Linderhof Palace is the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time. You also enjoy a short stop in Oberammergau, a town known around the world for its Passion play, wooden crafts and charming painted houses. Afternoon return to Munich.

 

Day 4/ Munich

Day 2/ Munich

Today explore the city with a regular tour using the Hop on/ Hop off tourist bus. You can disembark at any stop and take your time to get to know the city. Highlights include the Marienplatz square, the City Hall, the famous Church of our Lady and the Viktualienmarkt street market.

 

Day 3/ Munich

Make your way to the meeting point for a regular excursion to Berchtesgaden. It takes you to the Berchtesgaden region in the southeastern corner of Bavaria. From here you will enjoy an excellent view of the Bavarian Alps. In Berchtesgaden there is the possibility of taking a bus and a special elevator to visit the Eagle’s Nest in Obersalzberg - one of the former residences of Hitler. The Eagle’s Nest was a gift from the National Socialist Workers Party (NSDAP) on the occasion of the Führer’s 50th birthday in Berchtesgaden. A little further up you can enjoy beautiful views of the nearby peaks.

 

Day 4/ Munich

Package 3: Munich and Salzburg  

Day 1/ Munich

Day 2/ Munich

Today you explore the city with a regular tour using the Hop on/Hop off tourist bus. You can disembark at any stop and take your time to get to know the city. Highlights include the Marienplatz square, the City Hall, the famous Church of our Lady and the Viktualienmarkt street market. Don‘t miss the opportunity to visit one of the most famous museums of the city: the old Pinakothek art gallery and the new Pinakothek art gallery. Science fans and families will love the Deutsches Museum, which boasts one of the largest science and technology collections in the world. 

 

Day 3/ Munich - Salzburg - Munich

Enjoy a regular excursion to Salzburg and the Lake District. This tour will take you through the Chiemgau region from where you may enjoy spectacular views of the foothills of the Alps. Then a stop in Salzburg, the city of Mozart, to visit the city; go shopping or admire the lovely architecture in the old city . Then the excursion continues towards Wolfgangsee Lake where there is time to enjoy a boat tour to St. Wolfgang’s "White House". You may also visit the Wallfahrtskirche pilgrim’s church. Return to Munich via Mondsee Lake.

 

Day 4/ Munich

Package 4:  Historic Munich 

Day 1/ Munich

Upon arrival in Munich, optional private transfer to your hotel. You receive the Munich City Tour Card, which is valid for 4 days and allows you to use all public transport in the city and also includes discounts to many tourist attractions.

 

Day 2/ Munich

Today you embark on a special tour of Munich to learn more about the city’s role during the Third Reich. The foundation of the Nationalist Party, the attempted coup and the Night of Broken Glass are all very closely associated with the Bavarian capital. Visit the original historic locations, such as the Justice Palace, where opponents of the regime where jud- ged, as well as other buildings constructed by the Nazis to consolidate their power. The tour also includes monuments dedicated to the resistance and the victims of the war. The rest of the afternoon is free.

 

Day 3/ Munich - Dachau - Munich

Embark on a regular 5-hour excursion to the former concentration camp of Dachau. More than 200,000 prisoners passed through this camp during its 12 years of existence. Around 40,000 prisoners were killed. Together with a guide, we learn more about the daily routine of the concentration camp, but avoiding all sensationalism.

 

Day 4/ Munich
