Day 1

Arrival Zurich · Day at leisure

Make use of your Zurich City Card! You can use all means of public transport in the greater Zürich area as often as you like.  Also included is free admission to over 35 of Zürich's museums, a complimentary welcome drink in over 15 restaurants in the city as well as a number of other discounts. 

 

Enjoy the pretty old town of Zurich, the trendy new Zurich West district and the glorious lake. With opera, ballet, theatre premieres, shows, musicals, art exhibitions in over 50 museums and 100 galleries, time never drags in Zurich. The famous Bahnhofstrasse and the Limmatquai are a shopper's paradise. Visit to the Zurich Zoo, Stroll around famous Bahnhofstrasse, the lake shores, the old town


Day 2

Departure for 2-hours city tour 

"The Zurich Trolley Experience"

This city tour of Zurich, which is conducted in 8 languages will take you through this lovely city including the shopping and financial district, a section of the Old Town, the Fraumünster Church, Limmatquai, the stately villas in the residential area Zurichberg, the recreational areas an view of the Alps from the Zurich point on the lake. 

 

Following the city tour, at the lake piers you'll board a modern lake cruise ship for a 1,5 hour cruise on Lake Zurich. Relax on board while passing pretty lakeside villages, picturesque villages snuggling at the food of the vineyard-clad hills, numerous swimming areas and stately villas. Enjoy the fresh lake air and the gorgeous views of the city in one direction and the snow-covered mountains in the other.

 


Day 3

Departure from Zurich.

Drive along Lake Zurich to Rapperswil, the City of Roses with its medieval castle and the Old Town. 

Continue through the lovely Toggenburg region to Unterwasser/Wildhaus – your mountain retreat. 

 

Located below the seven Churfirsten peaks and the Säntis Mountain Unterwasser-Wildhaus offers astonishing landscapes, traditional customs and proposes many outdoor activities on its many trails up to 2.300 m above sea level.  A spectacular sight are the Thur Water Falls in the summer. In the winter you will find yourself in the middle of the the skiing areas Alt St. Johann, Unterwasser and Wildhaus. Check-in at your hotel and relax in the fresh, crispy mountain air.

Day 05

Your morning is at leisure. Around noon time continue your trip to Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein, the small alpine country landlocked between Switzerland and Austria. After some time at leisure in Liechtenstein continue to Heidiland, the setting of Johanna Spyri's classic story of a Swiss mountain girland her grandfather, a tale that has captivated generations of readers throughout the world. A pleasant short walk leads you to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop and, of course, lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional. A beautiful trip along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings you back to Zurich. 


Day 06

 Breakfast at your hotel. Rest of day at leisure in Zurich. Individual departure
